United Methodist Men
The mission of the United Methodist Men is, “Helping men to grow in Christ, so others can know
Christ.” The objective of the Bracken United Methodist Men is to help grow our church community
and to expand our mission into the community at large. The UMM meet on the second Tuesday
evening of each month beginning at 6:30pm for a time of fellowship, devotion, and prayer. There
are quarterly opportunities for both serving the church and mission outreach projects.
Our Church is over one hundred and thirty years old. In 1871, area families that needed to build a
worship center in their community founded it. For over a century this congregation has grown
into a vital part of this community.
Over the last twenty years the area around us has exploded with new developments and
expanding neighborhoods. Today Bracken United Methodist Church has a wonderful opportunity
to grow our church community as a Worship Center for the area just as it was when the first
families gathered together to praise the Lord.
This is our mission. This is our opportunity. This is one of the things we should have in our
hearts when we say, “ Thy will be done.”
